India’s auto market is now rapidly moving towards electric vehicles. The biggest example of this change are two Indian companies Mahindra and Tata Motors. Both have launched their new electric SUVs-Mahindra XEV 9e and Tata Harrier EV. Both SUVs are beautiful to look at, powerful to drive and compete with luxury cars in terms of features. Mahindra XEV 9e

  • Just looking at Mahindra’s new XEV 9e, it seems that it is the SUV of the future. Its coupe-style design, large body and attractive lighting give it a very premium look on the road. From inside this SUV is completely hi-tech. It has three displays which show different information for the driver, center and passenger. Also, its interior looks very futuristic due to the glass-roof lighting and minimalist dashboard.

    In terms of driving, the XEV 9e is very smooth and refined. It has a single motor setup, but its performance is no less than a dual motor SUV.   • Tata Harrier EV is the flagship electric SUV from Tata Motors, known for its robust design and excellent off-road capabilities. From outside it looks like the old Harrier, but its interior is completely new and technologically advanced. It has digital mirrors, 540-degree camera and more physical control buttons, which provide easy control while driving.
  • The dual motor (AWD) system of Harrier EV gives it excellent traction and power on all types of terrains. This SUV offers a range of 400 to 430 kilometers, and its suspension is specially designed for rugged terrain. High ground clearance and strong underbody make it perfect for off-roading. If you want an electric SUV that offers strong performance along with luxury, then Harrier EV is the right choice for you.

Which SUV offers more value?

  • While the estimated price of Mahindra Both the SUVs are special in their own way. If you want a futuristic, tech-focused and stylish electric SUV, then Mahindra XEV 9e is a better option. But if you are inclined towards power, raw SUV feel and strong design, then you will like Tata Harrier EV more.
