A major accident took place on National Highway-28 in Uttar Pradesh Basti on Tuesday morning, where a bus full of pilgrims collided head-on with a truck. In this accident, four people died tragically on the spot while 11 people were seriously injured. Police administration has reached the spot.
According to the news, this accident happened near Hardiya intersection located on Basti-Bargadwa road under Kotwali police station area. Where a bus full of pilgrims collided with a truck. This collision was so strong that the front part of the bus was badly damaged. This bus was going from Sant Kabir Nagar to Ajmer when it met with an accident on the way.

After this accident there was an outcry on the spot. As soon as the information was received, DM, SP and DIG themselves reached the spot and the rescue operation was started. Four people including the truck driver died in this bloody accident. These include three pilgrims. After the collision, the bodies were badly stuck in the vehicles and the police had to struggle hard to free them.
4 killed and 11 passengers injured in the accident
The police administration team has admitted 11 injured passengers to the hospital. Of these, 2 are seriously injured. Seriously injured passengers have been referred to Higher Medical Center for better treatment after first aid. Doctors are continuously monitoring the condition of other injured. With the help of a crane, the police removed the accident vehicles from the highway, after which the traffic became normal.
According to Deputy Inspector General of Police Sanjeev Tyagi, this horrific accident occurred in the morning when the bus carrying pilgrims from Belhar Kala in Sant Kabir Nagar district to Ajmer Sharif went out of control and collided with a truck coming from the front. The collision was so severe that the front parts of both the vehicles were damaged.
The police have informed the families of the deceased. Further legal action is being taken.
