Big news is coming out about the schools of Himachal Pradesh. Now more than 100 government schools of the state will be connected to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This means that studies in these schools will now be on the pattern of CBSE. At the same time, boys and girls will now study together in these schools, because the government has decided to merge different schools and implement co-education. This news is special for those parents who want to teach their children in CBSE schools.

Why is this master plan special?

The Himachal Government and the Directorate of Education have taken a big step together. In the first phase, more than 100 government schools will be connected to the CBSE board. These include high school and senior secondary school. Till now many schools were only for boys or only girls, but now co-education will be implemented by merging them. The Directorate of Education has released its entire list, in which the names and plans to merge the schools have been told.

What is the purpose of this plan?

The purpose of this plan is to provide better and modern education to children. CBSE studies are considered to be the best in the whole country and this will give children more opportunities for college or job in future. Also, co-education will bring a sense of mutual understanding and equality in children.

What do schools have to do to join CBSE?

To get affiliation with CBSE, schools will have to submit some important documents. Under this, schools will have to give land records, in which there will be complete details of school land. At the same time, building safety certificate will have to be given, in which evidence of the building is to be safe. Also, in addition to the fire safety certificate, clean water and hygiene certificate will also have to be given. All these documents will have to be uploaded to schools on CBSE’s stork 6.0 portal. The school will get recognition of CBSE only after this process is completed. The government has clearly stated that every school will have to follow these rules, so that children get good and safe education and follow the rules.

Which districts will be included in CBSE schools?

Some schools from every district of Himachal have been included in this list.

  • Bilaspur District: Here 6 schools will join CBSE. These include Government Senior Secondary School Bilaspur, Ghumarwin, Hatwar, Bharadi, Talai and Jukhala.
  • Chamba District: 6 schools have also been selected in Chamba, including Kilad, Chawadi, Singhuta, Chamba, Teesa and Kihar.
  • Hamirpur District: 11 schools in Hamirpur will join CBSE. These include Sohari, Bhoranj, Kharwar, Shaheed Captain Mridul Sharma Government Senior Secondary School Hamirpur, Nadaun, Galod, Bada, Dhaneta, Amlaihar, Sujanpur and Karot.
  • Kangra District: The maximum number of 18 schools in Kangra will be linked to CBSE. These include Kunsal, Dehra, Dhaliara, Dharamshala, Fatehpur, Indora, Jaisinghpur, Uppergaon, Saleti, Jwalamukhi, Jawali, Nagrota Suriya, New Kangra, Nagrota Bagwan, Nurpur, Palampur, Kanbari and Shahpur.
  • Kinnaur District: Here 4 schools will be connected to Rikongpo, Bhavnagar, Sangla and Kanam with CBSE.
  • Kullu District: 5 schools Ani, Banjar, Manali, Kullu and Sarahan have been selected in Kullu.
  • Lahaul-Spiti District: Here 2 schools will join Keylong and Kaja CBSE.
  • Mandi District: 10 schools in Mandi will be connected to CBSE. These include Bhangrotu, Madhi, Panarasa, Jogendranagar, Karsog, Gohar, Mandi, Sarkaghat, Janjahali and Sundernagar.
  • Sirmaur District: 7 schools in Sirmaur have been included in Nahan, Rajgarh, Paonta Sahib, Nauradhar, Shillai, Kafota and Satoun.
  • Solan District: In Solan, 9 schools will join Arki, Kunihar, Dadlaghat, Baddi, Nalagarh, Dharampur, Solan, Kandaghat and Mamlega CBSE.
  • Una District: 7 schools in Una have been chosen as Amba, Ambota, Haroli, Badhera, Dulaihar, Bangana and Una.
  • Shimla District: 13 schools in Shimla will be connected to CBSE. These include Nerwa, Sahsati Nagar, Jubbal, Gumma, Baldayan, Koti, Rampur, Rohdu, Portmore, Chhota Shimla, Lalpani, Sunni and Ghanhatti.
