Himachal school timetable changes: Big news has come out from Himachal Pradesh. Due to the scorching heat and heatwave alert in the plains of the state, necessary changes have been made in the timetable of schools. The Directorate of School Education has issued instructions to make changes in the time of schools to provide relief to the students.
For the last few days, the temperature has reached 45 degrees Celsius in areas like Kangra, Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur, BBN area of Solan district and Paonta Sahib/Nahan in Sirmaur district, causing students to face problems.
Its demand was raised by various school management committees, guardian-teacher associations and parents. Keeping in mind the adverse weather conditions, it has been issued to adjust the school time from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm if required.
Officials have also been instructed to ensure that the students are not allowed to play in the field during scorching heat and heat. Also, the time of morning prayer meeting should also be shortened. All the Deputy Directors have also been instructed to immediately inform the Directorate of the timetable. Under the Disaster Management Act, the concerned officials have been instructed to follow the orders.
