PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana:: The Government of India runs many schemes for the people of the country. Crores of people of the country benefit from them. Many people in the country work in unorganized sectors. Who do not have many resources for income. Therefore, a new scheme has been started by the government to give pension every month. In this scheme people are given a pension of Rs 3 thousand.
The government prepared this scheme for the workers which can provide financial security as they grow older. Such people work hard all day long. But as work stops with increasing age, the biggest worry is how the expenses will be managed. Keeping this in view, the Prime Minister Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana was started. Its objective is to secure the future of unorganized workers by giving them a minimum pension. Know who can apply for the scheme and what documents will be required for it.
Who can apply?
Workers aged between 18 to 40 years can participate in the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana. And the contribution amount depends entirely on the age at which one applies. If a person joins this scheme at the age of 18 years. So he will have to deposit only Rs 55 every month.

This contribution has to continue till he turns 60 years of age. After this the government will give a pension of Rs 3 thousand every month. The sooner you join the scheme, the less amount you will have to deposit. This scheme is special for those who work as laborers or on daily wages and whose income fluctuates.

Which documents should be ready before application?
Registering for the scheme is easy. But only when you have the correct documents. Those who will not have the necessary documents. Their application may be rejected outright. Therefore, before applying, keep Aadhaar card, identity related documents, bank passbook, mobile number and passport size photo ready. These documents are necessary for your identity and banking details. So that the pension can reach your account without any interruption. If the documents are ready, you can apply by going to the nearest Common Service Centre.
