This new charge will be levied when you order PVC card online through myAadhaar portal or mAadhaar app.

According to UIDAI, the cost associated with making PVC cards has increased significantly in the last few years. The cost of the material used in making the card, its printing, security features and secure delivery through India Post, all these things have become higher than before. For this reason, UIDAI has increased the fees slightly, so that people can get good quality, strong and secure Aadhaar PVC card on time.
What is Aadhaar PVC Card?
Aadhaar PVC card is a plastic Aadhaar card, which looks exactly like a debit or credit card. It is stronger than paper Aadhaar card, does not get spoiled easily and is also safe from water. The thing to note is that PVC Aadhaar card is not a new Aadhaar. It contains the same information as your old Aadhaar. Its validity is exactly the same as that of paper Aadhaar and e-Aadhaar. How to order Aadhaar PVC card online?

2. Enter your Aadhaar number, virtual ID and enrollment number there.
3. OTP will come on your registered mobile number.
4. Check details by entering OTP.
5. After this make online payment of Rs 75.
6. After payment you will get Service Request Number (SRN). You can track your card with this SRN number.
In how many days does the Aadhaar PVC card reach home?
UIDAI prints the card in about 5 working days after receiving the order. After this the card is sent through speed post of India Post. Usually the card reaches your home within 15 working days. You keep getting every information related to delivery through SMS. If you have ordered a PVC card, then you can check the status of the card by visiting the UIDAI website and entering the Aadhaar number and Service Request Number. When the card is posted, you also get the tracking number of India Post.
