BJP vs tmc: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee appealed to the people on Monday (March 30) not to come under any provocation, which can provoke communal riots. He assured that his government is committed to maintaining peace and harmony in the state.
During the Eid prayers on Kolkata’s’ Red Road ‘, Mamata Banerjee said,’ Efforts are being made to incite riots, please do not get caught in this trap. The state government stands with minorities and will not allow anyone to create stress. He also said that his government stands equally with all communities and will keep the spirit of brotherhood strong in the state.
Target BJP
Targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Chief Minister said, ‘If the BJP has a problem with the minorities, will they change the constitution of the country?’ He opposed the BJP’s ‘divisive politics’ and called it ‘jumla politics’, whose aim is to divide people on the basis of religion. Along with this, he also attacked the leftists and said, ‘Lal and saffron have become one now, but I will not let you suffer any harm.’
Abhishek Banerjee attacked BJP
Abhishek Banerjee, the National General Secretary of the Trinamool Congress, also hit the BJP. He said, ‘In the last Lok Sabha elections, we stopped the BJP together. He questioned the communal politics of the BJP, saying ‘BJP says’ Hindus are in danger ‘His colleagues say’ Muslims are in danger ‘, but the truth is that the whole country is in danger because of their politics.’

Giving a message of unity of all religions, Abhishek Banerjee said, ‘There is no religion of the moon.’ He urged people to remain united and said, ‘We should maintain unity and live together. I will give my life, but will not deviate from my principles. The Trinamool Congress leaders emphasized that they would strongly oppose any effort to divide the state and promote communal politics.
