A 50 year old man has committed suicide in a famous hotel in Delhi. At present the reasons for suicide are not known. As soon as information about the incident was received, Delhi Police reached the spot and started action by taking possession of the body.
The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Parvinder Singh Juneja, who was a resident of Lajpat Nagar. He stayed in this hotel during Christmas time and checked out later. He came to the hotel around 12 o’clock on Sunday and committed suicide by jumping from the 12th floor.
The hotel will issue a statement regarding the incident
In the 5 star hotel Le Meridien, such balconies are built inside the hotel where there is no safety net for safety, if it had been so then perhaps suicide could have been prevented. Le Meridien Hotel will soon issue a statement regarding the incident.
Investigation into the incident continues
At present the hotel has not given any information regarding the incident. The restaurant area has been closed. Delhi Police’s forensic vehicle is present in the hotel.
