Due to floods in Punjab, life of people is disturbed. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia has surrounded the central government over the situation in the floods due to floods in Punjab. He alleged that the central government has not taken any concrete steps yet. PM Narendra Modi himself is now coming to assess the situation. Along with this, Sisodia also demanded the Central Government to pay the outstanding money of 60 thousand crore rupees of Punjab.

Addressing a press conference on the flood situation in Punjab, ‘AAP’ leader Manish Sisodia said, “Prime Minister is coming here, this is a good thing. He spoke to the Chief Minister on the phone, after that Home Minister Amit Shah also spoke. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan also visited, but no step has been taken by the central government yet.

Demand for Punjab 60 thousand crore rupees dues

The AAP leader further said, “The Prime Minister is also coming right now, my request will be that you should assess, your Union Minister has also been assessed, but finally some steps will have to be raised. The people of Punjab need help today. They will have to announce, now the official central government of Punjab owes 60 thousand crore rupees. In which 58 thousand crore rupees are of GST, rural development money. In such a situation, the legitimate money of the people of Punjab is made on the central government, give it first.

Need for very large scale relief in floods- Sisodia

Sisodia also said, “I will appeal to the Prime Minister that you are coming on September 9, the 60 thousand crore rupees of the money of Punjab should have been given to the central government in advance, if it had been money today, it would have been more speed.” My assessment is that very large scale relief is needed due to floods. This historically has a very dangerous flood and needs to think about it afresh.
