Politics has intensified in Uttar Pradesh even before the 2027 assembly elections. Recently, SP MP had claimed that many BJP MLAs are in touch with Samajwadi Party and now a similar statement has come from Bharatiya Janata Party. UP government cabinet minister Nitin Agarwal claimed that many SP MLAs will soon join BJP.
Cabinet Minister Nitin Agarwal had reached Shravasti on Wednesday, where District Magistrate Ashwini Kumar Pandey and Superintendent of Police Rahul Bhati welcomed the Minister in-charge Nitin Agarwal by giving him bouquets. After this, he was also given a guard of honor by the police. After this he also participated in the core committee meeting with party workers.
Nitin Agarwal targeted the opposition
During his Shravasti visit, Nitin Aggarwal held a review meeting with officials regarding Ji Ram Ji and the schemes being run by the government. After this, he also talked to journalists on various issues and answered their questions.
Minister Nitin Aggarwal said that after the change of Ji Ram Ji Yojana, the days of the workers will also change, because till now the MNREGA scheme which was being run by the UPA government had become a victim of corruption. The workers were not getting full wages. But, now we have decided to make payment in 7 days. If the workers do not get paid within 7 days, we will pay them along with interest.
Till now the workers were given only 100 days of work but now they will be given 125 days of work. Cabinet Minister Nitin Aggarwal said that ever since the name of this scheme has been changed and this scheme has been given momentum, the opposition is in panic. It has been seen that whenever any scheme is launched by Modi and Yogi government, the opposition gets nervous.
SP MLAs claim to join BJP
While talking to the media regarding the Meerut incident, the Cabinet Minister said that the law and order situation in the state is fine and those who carried out the incident will not be spared and people will be given justice. On the meeting of Brahmin MLAs of BJP, Nitin Aggarwal said that BJP MLAs are not joining SP but many MLAs of Samajwadi Party are going to join BJP soon.
