In Maharashtra, politics has once again been hot about Maratha reservation. Manoj Jarang, leader of the Maratha movement, has announced a big performance in Mumbai on August 29. At the same time, state minister and BJP leader Girish Mahajan has appealed to Jarange to take restraint. Mahajan says that for the Maratha community, the first to take concrete steps but Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was the only one.
Fadnavis is using police
In Beed, Manoj Jarang alleged that Fadnavis are creating “small obstacles” to incite the Maratha community. He said, “Fadnavis should not use the police to harass us. I am coming to Mumbai and will meet there.”
Jarange is constantly demanding reservation for Maratha society in education and government jobs under the OBC category.
Fadnavis had done concrete work- Mahajan
Girish Mahajan said that Fadnavis first did the work of providing justice to the Maratha society. He said, “Fadnavis was the one who first took concrete steps for Maratha reservation. Unfortunately, that decision could not stand in the court. But earlier governments did nothing on this issue.”
Mahajan further said that it is absolutely wrong to call Jarang Fadnavis cruel and it will not get any support. He advised that it is necessary to maintain restraint in both language and conduct in the movement.
Uddhav, Raj Thackeray and Rahul Gandhi also targeted
Not only Manoj Jarn will, Girish Mahajan also attacked many big leaders of the opposition on this occasion. He also criticized Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray, MNS president Raj Thackeray and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Mahajan said that these leaders are making statements only for political gains.
Big performance on August 29
Manoj Jarange has called for a protest on Maratha reservation in Mumbai on August 29. Even before this, he has fasted and agitated many times to demand reservation. It is believed that a large number of people of Maratha society can participate in this demonstration.
