1. Bank holiday due to Holi
Banks will remain closed in Kanpur and Lucknow on the occasion of Holika Dahan on March 2. After this, due to festivals like Dol Jatra, Dhulandi and Holika Dahan on March 3, banking services will be affected in Belapur, Bhopal, Dehradun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna, Ranchi and Vijayawada.
On March 4 also, due to Holi, banks will remain closed in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Imphal, Itanagar, Jammu, New Delhi, Raipur, Shillong and Shimla. Apart from this, there will be a bank holiday in Aizawl on 13th March due to Chapchar Kut festival.
2. Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on the occasion of Shab-e-Qadr on March 17. After this, due to Gudi Padwa, Telugu New Year Day and first Navratri on March 19, banking services will be affected in many cities including Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Imphal, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji and Vijayawada.
On March 20, banks are going to remain closed in Jammu, Srinagar, Kochi, Trivandrum and Vijayawada due to Ramzan and Jumat-ul-Vida.
On March 21, due to Ramzan-Eid and Sarhul, there will be a bank holiday in almost the entire country except Kochi, Vijayawada, Trivandrum and Shimla. Apart from this, on the occasion of Ram Navami on March 26, banks will remain closed in many cities including Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow and Ranchi.
Apart from this, banks are going to remain closed in many cities on 27th March due to Ram Navami and 31st March due to various reasons.
