Rani Mukherjee starrer film ‘Mardaani 3’ is earning decently at the box office. Despite facing tough competition from Sunny Deol’s war drama ‘Border 2’ at the box office, this cop drama has made a splash in the second weekend. According to the initial report of industry tracker Saknilk, this film has earned Rs 4 crore on the second Sunday i.e. on the 10th day of its release. This increase, though minor, shows that the film benefited from weekends and holidays.
On the 9th day (second Saturday) the film earned approximately Rs 3.5 crore, which is a good increase compared to the weekday figures. Earlier, Mardaani 3 had earned Rs 1.85 crore on both Thursday and Friday. Including the 10th day collection, the total box office collection of the film is now around Rs 35.65 crore.

Difficulties will increase for Mardaani 3 in the second week
Mardaani 3 is facing tough competition in theatres. Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan’s war drama Border 2 is still quite popular among the general audience, while new releases like Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta’s Vadh 2 are also attracting the audience. This crowded release window has reduced the growth expectations of Mardaani 3 in the second week. However, good word of mouth and Rani Mukherjee’s star power may help the film sustain, even if the chances of a sharp jump in the collections are slim.
