Talking about the price, Tata Nexon is slightly cheaper than Maruti Brezza. The starting ex-showroom price of Nexon is Rs 7.32 lakh, while the price of Brezza starts from Rs 8.26 lakh. The top variant of Nexon goes up to Rs 13.79 lakh, while the top variant of Brezza is available up to Rs 12.86 lakh. If your budget is limited then Nexon will prove to be a more economical option. However, the Brezza’s low maintenance costs and strong resale value make it better for office users in the long run.
How is the engine and performance of the car?
Tata Nexon comes with two engine options. Both engines are available with 6-speed manual, AMT and DCT gearboxes. Nexon’s turbo engine gives better driving experience in overtaking and highway driving. Whereas Maruti Brezza has a 1.5 liter K15C petrol engine which comes with mild-hybrid system. The Brezza’s driving is smooth, refined and vibration-free, especially in cities, which is better for those who drive in traffic on a daily basis.
Which is more economical in mileage?
The petrol version of Maruti Brezza gives a mileage of up to 19.8 kmpl, while its CNG version claims a mileage of up to 25.51 km/kg, whereas, the petrol version of Tata Nexon gives a mileage of up to 17–18 kmpl and its diesel version gives a mileage of up to 24.08 kmpl.
Both the SUVs are quite strong in terms of features, but Tata Nexon has more modern and tech-oriented features. It includes features like 10.25-inch touchscreen, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, wireless charging and JBL sound system. On the other hand, Maruti Brezza has been provided with practical features like 9-inch touchscreen, head-up display (HUD), auto AC, sunroof and wireless charger.
