Maruti Suzuki First Electric Car Launching: The wait for Maruti Suzuki India’s first electric car E-Vitara SUV is going to end. Before the launch of the car, the e-Vitara is now reaching the company’s showroom. This car will be sold from Nexa dealership. The electric SUV is being prepared at the Gujarat plant, from where it will be sold in the global market.
Not only this, some Nexa dealers have also started booking its booking. E-Vitara will compete with Tata Curve EV, Hyundai Creta Electric and other FWD compact C-segment Electric SUV in the Indian market.
How many battery packs will be offered E-Vitara?
Maruti Suzuki is going to launch its first electric SUV E-Vitara with two battery pack options-49kwh and 61kwh-. In this electric SUV, customers will get three trims Sigma, DELTA and ZETA/Alpha. Talking about the price, the ex-showroom price of the Sigma variant (49kwh) will be Rs 18 lakh, while the DELTA variant (49kwh) has been priced at Rs 19.50 lakh.
The price of ZETA variant (49kwh) will be Rs 21 lakh. At the same time, another option of ZETA variant will come with 61kwh battery pack, which will cost Rs 22.50 lakh. The top variant Alpha (61kwh) has been priced at Rs 24 lakh. The special thing is that only the ZETA variant will be available in both battery pack options, which makes this variant with the most options.
You will get so many color options in electric car
Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch E-Vitara in a total of 10 attractive color options, including 6 mono-tone and 4 dual-tone color. Mono-tone options include colors like Nexa Blue, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Bluish Black and Opulent Red.
To make E-Vitara premium, the company has given a lot of features in it. It will get LED headlights, DRLs and taillamps which will give it a modern look. The SUV has 18-inch wheels and active air vent grills which increase aerodynamic efficiency. 10.25-inch digital instrument clusters and 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment systems have been included in panoramic sunroof, multi-caller ambient lighting and digital features. This system supports wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay.
Safety features of Maruti E-Vitara
Even in the case of safety, Maruti E-Vitara is not less than anyone. It will be provided with Level 2 ADAS technology, which will include advance safety features like lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. The SUV will have 7 airbags facilities which ensure safety of both the driver and passenger. Other safety features include blind spot monitor, tire pressure monitor, 360-degree camera and front and rear parking sensors.
