Maruti Suzuki Preparaing to Launch E Vitara, Partners with itis for Training Program for Evs and Hybrid Vehicles

The country’s largest car maker Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car E Vitara can be launched soon. It was displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo held earlier this year. The company is creating a strong ecosystem for potential customers of this EV. Maruti Suzuki has started a training program related to high-voltage systems of electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles.

For this training program, the company has tied up with about 130 Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) in 24 states and union territories. Maruti Suzuki said that in the first batch of this training program, more than 4,100 trend students will be ready to join the automobile industry in the next few months. Maruti Suzuki Senior Executive Officer (Corporate Affairs), Rahul Bharti said, “A major obstruction in the sale of electric vehicles is a lack of after-cells support. The country has about 90 percent of EVS sales in about 100 cities. We provide more than 1,000 workshops available for EVs in about 100 cities in about 100 cities. Will open. ”

E Vitara will compete with Hyundai’s Creta Electric, Tata Motors’ Curvv Ev, Mg Motor’s ZS EV and Mahindra & Mahindra’s Be6. The range in single charge of this electric SUV can be about 500 kilometers. E Vitara can get options for two battery packs of 49 kwh and 61 kwh. Its 49 kwh battery variant can generate a maximum power of 142 bhp and peak torque of 189 Nm. E Vitara will have a 61 kwh battery variant 172 bhp power and 189 Nm peak torque.

This electric SUV has dual-tone interior with squeeze-off elements on the interior dashboard. It has a dual integrated screen, which acts as a display of the infotainment system and a digital driver. Maruti Suzuki plans to include six EV models in its portfolio in the coming years. The manufacturing of E Vitara will be specially designed for battery-powered electric vehicles on the HeartEct-E platform. It has two separate electric excels on the front and rear.
