Masaba Gupta refused to give saree!
Kangana further says- ‘In those days, Tejas was about to be released, so I wanted to go for Ram Janmabhoomi darshan. I requested the same stylist who was styling me for the events of ‘Tejas’ (she is hired by the production house) to help me in the darshan yatra also. I don’t care that many stylists and designers have banned me from their handles, but this incident hurt me the most because Masaba had sent clothes to the stylist for my promotion, but when she came to know that these were for Ram Janmabhoomi, she asked the stylist not to use her clothes.
‘All this was unbearable for me’
The actress writes in the end – ‘The stylist is a very kind and noble woman. She was so embarrassed that she asked me in a hushed voice not to tag Masaba or her brand and told me that she had paid for the saree from her own pocket, so that I would not feel bad. But by the time I came to know about all this, it was too late. I was ready and was about to leave for Ram Janmabhoomi, but all this was unbearable for me. Hate, bitterness, discrimination, yuck! How disgusting! Even today I feel nauseous thinking about it.
