
Kamakhya Shaktipeeth is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of Maa Durga. Kamakhya Temple is located near Guwahati in Assam. It is believed that the vagina part of Mata Sati fell here. This temple is considered famous for Tantric Sadhana.

Vindhyachal Shaktipeeth is located on the banks of river Ganges in Vindhyachal in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the Shakti Peeth temples of India. There is also a temple of Maa Kali and Ashtabhuja along with Maa Vindhyavasini.

Harsiddhi Shaktipeeth is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths. Mata Sati’s elbow fell at the place of Harsiddhi temple in Ujjain. This temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths.

Jwala Devi Temple is located in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, which is near Kullu district. Nine flames continue to burn here, which are worshiped as a goddess. It is believed that the tongue of Sati Mata fell here. The Pandavas discovered this temple and came here and worshiped the mother.

Purnagiri Temple is located in Tanakpur of Champawat district of Uttarakhand. This temple is at an altitude of about 3,000 feet above sea level. This temple is one of the 51 Siddha Peeths. It is believed that Sati Mata’s navel fell in this place. Every year thousands of devotees come to see this Shaktipeeth.

Anxiety Shaktipeeth is located in Una district of Himachal Pradesh and Sati Devi’s feet fell at this place. Chintpurni Shakti Peeth in the temple where people come to visit. The goddess living in Chintpurni is also known as Chinnamastika.

The Kalighat temple located in Kolkata is very famous that it is believed that four fingers of the feet of Mata Sati fell at this place. It is the main Shaktipeeth of the 51 Shaktipeeths of Maa Sati. Every year millions of people come to visit this fame temple.

Naina Devi Temple located in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh is a famous Shaktipeeth. It is believed that the eyes of Sati Mata fell here, due to which it was named Naina Devi temple. A fair of pilgrims and devotees is held at this holy pilgrimage place throughout the year.

The temple of Mahalakshmi located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra is also one of the major Shaktipeeths. It is said that the Trinetra of Maa Sati fell here. This temple is also famous because there is a route to entry from all four directions here and once a year the rays of the sun fall directly on the idol of the Goddess.

This Shaktipeeth is dedicated to mother Tara Devi in Birbhul district of West Bengal. It is said that Nayan (Tara) of Maa Sati fell here. Due to this, it was named Tarapith. This Shaktipeeth is considered famous for Tantric action and accomplishment of Tantra-Mantra.
