Jamiat Ulema-e-Hindi: On October 21, 2024, a three-member bench led by former Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, on the petition of Maulana Arshad Madni, President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, banned any action and all those notices against Islamic madrasas. The court had said that till the time the notice is issued by the court, if any notice or order in this regard is issued by the Central or State Government, then the ban on it will continue.
Despite this stay of the Supreme Court, unilateral action against the dargahs, Idgahs and cemeteries in all the Muslim -dominated districts of Uttar Pradesh, which meet Nepal, is not only indiscriminately, but so far hundreds of madrasas have been declared unconstitutional.
In a statement issued by Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, according to sources, it was said that many madrasas are also being demolished. Surprisingly, despite having a valid documents, this campaign is going on, due to which there has been a wave of serious concern and fear among Muslims. The Supreme Court had banned action against madrasas on the petition filed by Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind and now a new campaign has been started against madrasas.
Jamiat conference will be organized to register protest
Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind is going to organize “Madrasa Suraksha Sammelan” at Jamia Sharia Faizaul Uloom located in Sarai Mir, Azamgarh on 1 June 2025 with a view to registering his strong protest against him and to decide the advice and consultation strategy of the responsibilities of madrasas.
The important thing is that in this conference, the responsibilities and assets of all the masters have been given a feast. The entire responsibility of organizing and management of the conference has been entrusted to Maulana Ashhad Rashidi, President of Jamiat Ulama Uttar Pradesh.
Muslims being politically weak- Maulana Arshad Madani
Maulana Arshad Madani, president of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, will attend this conference as the chief guest. Maulana Arshad Madani said, “It is a matter of regret that the style which has been done in the country during the last few years, the Muslims did not benefit, on the contrary, the Muslims, along with their educational institutions, were also targeted so that not only the Muslims are demarcated not only politically but they are also deprived of religious education or there is also politics behind this campaign. Efforts are also being made to trample the streams under the feet in which minorities have been given complete freedom to establish their educational institutions and run them. ”
He said, “While security has been provided to all minority educational institutions under Section 30 (1) of the Constitution, the freedom of conscience under section 25 and under 26, minorities have been given complete freedom to management of their religious educational institutions.”
Supreme Court has been commenting on the right of minorities
He said, “The Supreme Court has also been constantly commenting that no interference can be intervened in the rights given to the minorities under these sections. 2014 In 2014, the five -member bench of the Supreme Court had decided that the Right to Education Act 2009 will not apply to these educational institutions which are being run by the minorities and also a section 1 (5) of its sections, the same type of pests, the school, the same type Educational institutions will not apply. “

Maulana Madani said, “In fact, this campaign is a serious attack on the religious freedom of Muslims. Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind is fighting a legal struggle against him and by organizing a madrasa security conference, an attempt will be made to create a comprehensive and effective strategy for the safety of all the responsibilities of madrasas, it is also an attempt to create a comprehensive and effective wrench for the safety of madrasas, this time is not a time to get involved in the masters, but it is not a matter of getting involved in the masters. The campaign that has started includes all the madrasas of all the muscles. “
Action started against madrasas very deadly- Maulana Madani
Maulana Madani said, “Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind believes that the campaign to close madrasas by declaring unconstitutional in Uttarakhand and now Uttar Pradesh is very fatal. It is very deadly. It has started in the border districts of Nepal but tomorrow it can not only increase its scope but can also create difficulties in the establishment of new madrasas, although it is recorded in the history of history. The struggle for freeing was started by Ulama. This Ulama was the establishment of madrasas.
He said, “Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind is related to madrasas, all our elders come out from here. In fact, Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind is the voice and ideology of madrasas. Communal forces are also unaware of the history that they are the ulama of madrasas that when the whole community was sleeping, he had bothered the country to free the country from slavery.”
