Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (October 20, 2025) greeted the countrymen on Diwali. PM Modi posted on social media platform X and wrote, Happy Diwali to all the countrymen. We wish that this holy festival of lights illuminates everyone’s life with happiness, prosperity and harmony. President Daupadi Murma also wished the countrymen a happy Diwali.
Appeal to citizens to buy indigenous products
PM Modi has been appealing to people to buy indigenous things during festivals. Modi government has been emphasizing on Make in India since the beginning. On Chhoti Diwali on Sunday, PM Modi called upon citizens to welcome the festival by choosing indigenous products and honor the efforts of 140 crore Indians.
