Rizwan’s childhood spent in slums
Rizwan’s childhood, born in the slum area of Ghatkopar area of Mumbai, has spent a lot of difficulties. In an interview to Forbes, Rizwan had told that once his father won a lottery, after which his family shifted to a small house with slums.
In childhood, he used to go to school on foot with his sister on foot. Both of them used to get only 15 rupees pokemonies and it was not possible to go to the canteen for so much money. He felt that something would have to be done to help the family. Thinking this, once by borrowing 1000 rupees from his father, he bought some books and sold him to his friend, which earned some of his earnings. After this, he worked ranging from rakhis to crackers and milk. When he was 16 years old, his father died. Two years later, in 1981, he received an offer to work in Kuwait. Going there, he worked as a trainee salesman. Years later, in 1993, Rizwan laid the foundation of the Danube Group.
Today Rizwan is the owner of uncontrollable wealth
In the last few years, the business of Danube Group flourished. Today the company’s annual revenue is 10 billion dirhams. According to media reports, Rizwan earns Rs 32 crore every day and his estimated total assets are $ 2.5 billion, which makes him one of the richest Indian origin in Dubai.
Once in an interview, Rizwan said, “I am confident that even if I lose all my money, I can still make my business again. I am a person who can earn money even in the forests of Africa. ”However, he also says that you cannot succeed only on luck. For this, you also need to work hard.
