According to news agency ANI, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti said, “If we had an MLA, we would not let this bill be implemented in Jammu and Kashmir, the National Conference should also work against it in the assembly.”

We can only do what is in our hands, we do not have enough MLAs to pass the resolution in the assembly, the National Conference could have done this. We also went to the Supreme Court and to some extent the apex court has given some relief but it is not enough.
