Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has expressed his opinion on the relationship between terrorism and India and Pakistan. He said that dialogue and discussion between the two countries is very important. If this does not happen, then these encounters will continue and we will always be on the verge of war.
The PDP president said in a conversation with the news agency ANI, “The encounters used to be held earlier and will still continue to happen. But there was such a big war before that. After that, he had to cease again. It means that as long as you do not reconcile, talk and discuss, these encounters will continue to run and we will always be on the verge of war, so the conversation and reconciliation are the only way to move forward.”

‘Need to normalize the situation to remove unemployment’
Mehbooba Mufti appeared in favor of the sports competition between India and Pakistan. He said that if you want to maintain peace and do not want to spend money on war, then there should be sports competitions between India and Pakistan. The PDP chief also said that if we want to control unemployment and poverty, then more steps have to be taken to normalize the situation.
BJP and National Conference scathing
Earlier on Friday (August 01), Mehbooba Mufti, while launching a scathing attack on the BJP and the National Conference, accused him of failing to establish development and peace in Jammu and Kashmir despite receiving a huge mandate from the public. He referred to the legacy of former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and emphasized that the issues of the region could be resolved not from Delhi but from the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
‘What did BJP do for Jammu after getting 30 seats’
Addressing a function on the occasion of the party’s 26th anniversary, the PDP chief said, “BJP, which has been in power in both Delhi and Union Territory since 2018, has failed to bring peace and development in Jammu.” Tell me what BJP has done for Jammu after getting 30 seats? Unemployment is at its peak, resources have been handed over to outsiders and inflation has broken the back of the people.
