This problem occurs due to excessive tension

Essential hormones like estrogen, progesterone, testosterone and thyroid start getting affected, due to which the person’s weight starts increasing rapidly. Apart from this, due to excessive tension one cannot get complete sleep. Opening eyes repeatedly at night or staying awake till late night becomes a common problem. It is also said in Ayurveda that due to mental defects i.e. disturbance of mind, the balance of Vata, Pitta and Kapha in the body gets disturbed, which affects everything from digestion to sleep.

Energy also becomes less

Symptoms like increased fatigue and lack of energy are also seen due to excessive tension. In fact, when the mind is constantly surrounded by confusion, the body may be resting, but the mind feels completely tired. In such a situation, one does not feel like getting up in the morning and remains lethargic throughout the day. The working speed of the brain also slows down. This weakens the memory and makes it difficult to focus. Also, it becomes difficult to take decisions.

How to deal with tension?

To overcome stress, first of all it is important to understand yourself. We have to learn that thinking about everything is a problem, not a solution. It is very important to control your thinking and think positively. Ayurveda says that when the mind is stable then the body also remains healthy. For this, doing yoga and pranayam regularly is very beneficial. Practices like Surya Namaskar, Bhramari Pranayama and Anulom-Vilom help in calming the mind. It is also said in medical science that meditation reduces cortisol levels and provides mental peace.
