The cheapest variant of Mercedes G-Class in India is G 400d Adventure Edition. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 2.55 crore. If we talk about on-road price in Delhi, then after adding RTO, insurance and other charges its price reaches to around Rs 2.98 crore. This price may be slightly more or less depending on the city.
3.0-litre turbo diesel engine and performance
Mercedes G 400d has a 2925 cc i.e. 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine. This engine generates power of about 325.86 bhp and torque of 700 Nm. With this much power, this SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.4 seconds. Its top speed is 210 kmph. It has automatic transmission and AWD (all-wheel drive) system, due to which it gives excellent performance both on road and off-road. According to ARAI its mileage is around 10 kmpl.

Mercedes G-Wagon is not only known for luxury but also for its strong off-road capability. It has a low-range gearbox and three differential locks, which help it move smoothly even on difficult roads. Due to high ground clearance and strong chassis, it maintains excellent grip even on rough terrain. This is the reason why it is also called off-road king.
