Hisar in Haryana was the coldest, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 2.2 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department said that Faridkot of Punjab was in the grip of severe cold with a minimum temperature of 2.9 degrees Celsius. There are chances of severe cold in both the states even today.
