MG Motor India has launched the 2026 MG Hector facelift in India. Its starting ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 11.99 lakh. This price is for some limited units, although the company has not made it clear how many vehicles this offer will be limited to. MG Hector first came to India in 2019 and since then this SUV is known for its features and space. Now with the new facelift, the company has made mild but important changes in it. Fresh and new look from outside
- An effort has been made to make the new MG Hector look fresher than before. A new grill has been provided in its front, whose size may be the same as before, but its design is completely new. Slight changes have also been made in the bumper, which makes the SUV look more powerful. Along with this, new design alloy wheels have been provided. MG has also added two new color options in this facelift, which will give more options to the customers.
Small but useful changes seen in the interior
- Some changes have also been made inside Hector. It has been given new seat upholstery, which makes the cabin look more premium. Its large portrait style touchscreen is now 14 inches and has been made smoother than before. The newest feature is gesture control, with the help of which the driver and passenger can control music and climate control with hand gestures.

- There has been no change in terms of engine in the new MG Hector. It has a 1.5 liter turbo petrol engine, which comes with manual and CVT automatic gearbox. Whereas the 2.0 liter diesel engine is provided only with manual gearbox. The starting price of 7-seater Hector Plus is Rs 17.29 lakh.
Is MG Hector still a good option?
- This is the second facelift of MG Hector. Even though the competition has increased a lot, the new Hector still remains a strong and attractive SUV in terms of space, features and comfort.
