This electric crossover has started arriving at the dealerships by the company. This has indicated the customers of its early delivery start. The initial price of Windsor Ev Pro is about 18.10 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). Its battery will reduce the price with the Edge A Service option. However, with this, a battery rental of Rs 4.5 per km will have to be paid. It is an upgraded version of the company’s best selling Windsor EV. MG Motor claims that the new version of Windsor EV gives a range of more than 440 kilometers in single charge. However, it has an electric motor similar to the standard version of 136 HP power and 200 Nm torque. The new version has alloy wheels and ‘Adas’ badges on the tailgate.
It has been introduced in new colors like Aurora Silver, Celadon Blue and Glaze Red. Some changes have also been made in its cabin. It has light color interior. Windsor Ev Pro provides TFIC Jam Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control like Adas Level 2 features. This electric crossover has received good response from customers. Its sales have exceeded 20,000 units. Its standard version has been made available in three variants. EV portfolio of Mg Motor includes ComeT EV, Windsor EV and ZS EV. With the success of Windsor EV, the company has rapidly increased its share in the EV market.
The manufacturing company of this electric crossover is being done in Halol’s factory in Gujarat. To fulfill its increasing demand, the company has also planned to increase the capacity of its factory. On Dussehra last year, MG Motor started delivery to the customers of Windsor EV. It has spaces similar to the sedan and SUV. It competes with Mahindra’s XUV400 and Tata Motors’ Nexon EV.
