Based on satellite data analysis, the aircraft crashed into the southern Indian Ocean, away from the coast of Western Australia. However, there was no concrete conclusion in two big discoveries made about this.
The aircraft sent the signal for the last time 40 minutes after flying. When it reached Vietnam’s airspace, Captain Poison Ahmed Shah gave the last message,"Good night, Malaysian three seven zeros."

According to the military radar, the aircraft suddenly changed its flight direction and turned to the Andaman Sea, over the northern Malaysia and Penang Island. Then it reached the end of Sumatra Island in Indonesia and all the contacts were completely broken as soon as they turned in the south direction.
