The five-year long journey between Mumbai Indians and Arjun Tendulkar has come to an end. Mumbai Indians have traded Arjun to Lucknow Super Giants. Arjun will be a part of the squad of Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026. Let us remind you that Arjun was included by the MI franchise in its squad in the year 2021, but his debut took place after two years i.e. in 2023.
Lucknow Super Giants have traded Arjun Tendulkar for Rs 30 lakh. He was getting the same salary from MI also. So far, in his short IPL career of five matches, Arjun Tendulkar has taken 3 wickets and his economy rate has been 9.37.

Mumbai Indians thanked Arjun Tendulkar through a social media post, writing, “Arjun Tendulkar, thank you for being a part of the Mumbai Indians family. The MI team hopes that the new chapter of your career in the Lucknow Super Giants team will write a new story of success. It has been a matter of pride for us to contribute to your betterment and hope that you will do better in the future and create a new identity.”
Let us tell you that Arjun Tendulkar no longer plays for Mumbai team even in domestic cricket. He left the Mumbai cricket team in August 2022. He played for Goa in the 2022-23 domestic season. Now even in IPL his connection with Mumbai team has been broken.
Let us tell you that Mumbai Indians have traded Mayank Markande to Kolkata Knight Riders. Markande will also get a salary of Rs 30 lakh, he was getting the same salary in KKR. In his IPL career, Markande has played 37 matches and taken 37 wickets.
