Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals WPL Highlights: In the third match of the Women’s Premier League 2026, Mumbai Indians have defeated Delhi Capitals by 50 runs. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur made an important contribution to MI’s victory by playing an inning of 74 runs. In this match played in Navi Mumbai, Mumbai team had scored 195 runs while playing first. In reply, the entire Delhi team could not even play the full 20 overs and got all out on the score of 145.

In the first match of WPL 2026, Mumbai Indians had to face a close defeat of 1 run at the hands of RCB. But this time MI played like a team and registered a big win by 50 runs over Delhi.

Captain Harmanpreet hit a fifty

For Mumbai, captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored unbeaten 74 runs in 42 balls. In this innings, 8 fours and 3 sixes came from his bat. He made a partnership of 66 runs with Nate Sciver Brunt. Along with Nicola Carey, he also added 63 runs in 25 balls. There were 29 fours and 3 sixes in Mumbai’s innings.

Shefali Verma was a flop

India’s star opening batsman Shefali Verma could not perform brilliantly for Delhi Capitals in this match. He started the innings of Delhi Capitals along with wicketkeeper batsman Lizelle Lee. Both the opening batsmen were out till the score of 32. Shefali scored only 8 runs.

The Delhi team could not recover from the bad start, and by the time the score was 46 runs, half of the Delhi Capitals team had returned to the pavilion. The only batsman to score a half-century for Delhi was Chinelle Henry, who scored 56 runs in 33 balls. After him, the second highest score for Delhi was in the name of Nikki Prasad, who scored 12 runs.
