The Times of India report quoted this letter as saying that MN Karibasavana Gowda, who oversees the security of the Legislature, issued a written warning to the state government in the morning of the program. In this letter addressed to the secretary of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, G. Satyavati, Gowda warned against organizing an honor ceremony in Vidhan Saudh due to huge crowd and insufficient police deployment.

What was written in a letter?

The official wrote, “RCB is a fan across the country and if we organize any programs on grand stairs, millions of cricket fans will come in the legislation. Since there is a shortage of security personnel, the arrangement will be a problem.”
