Mitsubishi has introduced a new 7 seater SUV, named Destinator. Its biggest feature is that the price of the vehicle starts at Rs 20 lakh, which is usually of 5 seater compact SUVs. This SUV has been launched in Indonesia and is built in Mitsubishi’s new design style. In the coming time, a similar design can be seen in the rest of the vehicles.
How is the destinator’s look and size?
- Destinator looks very powerful and stylish in appearance. Its design is completely new and looks quite muscular. Its length is 4680mm, width 1840mm and height is 1780mm. Its wheelbase is also long (2815mm), which gives a lot of space inside. The SUV has an 18-inch alloy wheels and 214mm ground clearance, which also makes it comfortable on bumpy paths.
How are interior and features?
- The interior of the destinator gives a very premium feel. The car has dual-zone AC, so that passengers sitting forward and back can set the temperature according to their respective. Apart from this, it gets 64 color ambient lighting, which makes the night journey even more beautiful and rich. Destinator is a 7 seater SUV, that is, a big family can travel comfortably in it. The space inside is quite good, so long distance trips can also be completed without tiredness.
How is the engine and performance?
- A turbocharged petrol engine will be available in the destinator, which will give strong performance. It currently does not have a hybrid engine, but the petrol engine will give a great driving experience at the city and highway. Let me tell you that Mitsubishi first sold vehicles like Lancer and Pajero in India, but gradually their sales were reduced and the company stopped the operation from India. Now the company is preparing to return with SUV like Destinator. If this train comes to India, it can give a tough competition to SUVs like Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari.
