MNS leader said- Bihar Bhavan will not be built in Mumbai, Nitish Kumar’s party got angry, what is the stand of BJP-RJD?

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Yashwant Killedar has said that his party will not allow the construction of Bihar Bhawan in Mumbai. Newly elected councilor Killedar was reacting to reports that the Bihar government is constructing a 30-storey building in the Maharashtra capital that will also have a 240-bed dormitory for cancer patients.

Raj Thackeray-led MNS is known for its extreme anti-North Indian stance. Killedar said, “We will not allow its construction here. There are farmers’ problems in Maharashtra, school education has become expensive, there is inflation, there is unemployment. Instead of focusing on these problems, Rs 314 crore will be spent in the construction of Bihar Bhawan. If you are spending money for cancer patients (coming from Bihar), why not spend that money in Bihar itself? As long as MNS is here, Bihar Bhawan will not be constructed.”

Mumbai is not the property of any party or family: BJP

Politics has started after the statement of MNS leader. Bihar BJP spokesperson Prabhakar Mishra said that the threat by MNS leaders shows that they have more faith in hooliganism than the Constitution. Mumbai is not the property of any party or family. It is the economic capital of the country where buildings are built with the blood and sweat of Biharis. Those who are talking about stopping Bihar Bhawan should first decide whether they will follow the Constitution or will follow regional hatred. Nitish government and BJP are not afraid of any threat.

Country runs on Baba Saheb’s Constitution: JDU

JDU spokesperson Manish Yadav said that the country is run by Baba Saheb’s Constitution and not by the sermons of MNS leaders. The construction of Bihar Bhavan in Mumbai will not be done on the wish of any political party but as per the constitutional process and law. Some people give statements to remain in the media.

On the other hand, RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari said, “The way the controversy has started regarding the construction of Bihar Bhawan in Mumbai… the local leaders of MNS are saying that they will not allow Bihar Bhawan to be built. There is an NDA government in Bihar, at the Centre, in Maharashtra, so the Bihar government should talk to the Maharashtra government without any delay.”
