Phone causes skin problems: People are very troubled because of pimples. There are many reasons for this happening. Some people get pimples due to allergy, while others are troubled with pimples due to drug reaction. But do you know how harmful the phone on which you talk for hours, sometimes with friends, sometimes through office calls, video calls etc., is harmful for you? Are pimples coming out due to using mobile phone? We are saying this because in many places it is being claimed that pimples appear on the face due to excessive use of mobile phones. Let us tell you what is the truth behind this, is the pimple really coming out?

Do pimples come out from the phone?

When you use a mobile phone for hours, bacteria start accumulating on it. Later this reaches our faces through mobile. What happens is that they can clog all the pores in our body, due to which pimples, acne or infection can occur. Apart from this, when you keep the phone close, it causes heat. The hot environment and sweat combined can weaken the skin barrier and increase the rash. While talking on the phone, hands often touch the face, such as caressing the cheek, hand going near the mouth. Due to this, the oil and bacteria present in the hands reach the face and pimples can increase in the areas like mouth, jaw, cheeks etc. Although the evidence that direct exposure to radiation such as radio frequency (RF) and microwaves causes pimples is unclear, some small studies suggest that these waves may cause mild irritation or tension on the skin surface.

How to protect?

To prevent this, clean the surface of the phone with regular antiseptic wipes or alcohol wipes. Apart from this, while talking, use hands free, earphones, Bluetooth, so that the phone is not directly in front of the face. Wash your face with a mild face wash twice a day, especially after calls, to remove oil and bacteria. If pimples still appear after this, try to consult a dermatologist, especially if they become swollen, painful, or boil.
