There has been a loud explosion in an oxygen plant on Wednesday (August 6) in the industrial area of Phase-9, Mohali, Punjab. In this accident, two laborers, Devendra and Asif died on the spot, while 3 others were seriously injured, who have been admitted to Aspatal.
The sound of the explosion in the oxygen plant was heard far and wide, causing panic in the area. On receiving the information of the incident, police, fire department and district administration teams reached the spot and started relief work.
How did the accident happen?
Actually, this fierce accident happened while filling the oxygen cylinder in the plant premises. According to the information, the pressure in the oxygen cylinder was more than necessary, due to which it exploded and there was a loud explosion. How loud this blast must have been, it can be guessed from the pictures, where the walls are seen to be broken.
The explosion caused heavy damage in the factory and the glass of the surrounding buildings also broke. At the same time, those who were injured were immediately admitted to the nearest hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. At the same time, the dead who lost their lives in this accident have been identified as Devendra and Asif.
