Fast bowler Mohammed Shami has not been able to make a comeback in the Indian squad selected by BCCI against New Zealand. Former cricketer Irfan Pathan expressed his displeasure on this and raised questions on the working methods of the selection committee. Irfan Pathan further said that after returning from injury, Mohammed Shami has bowled 200 overs, this many overs are enough to prove his fitness. Pathan said, “What more does he need to prove than this? If Shami still needs to prove his fitness, only the selection committee knows what it is thinking.”
