Mohan Yadav’s government of Madhya Pradesh presented a budget of Rs 4 lakh 38 thousand 317 crore in the Assembly today (18 February). In this, along with giving special gifts to farmers and women, it was talked about strengthening the infrastructure. A provision of about Rs 23,882 crore has been made in the budget for the Chief Minister Ladli Brahmin Yojana. Finance Minister Jagdish Deora, while presenting the third budget of MP government, reiterated the resolve for the development of the state.

Important points of MP Budget 2026

  • Total budget- Provision of Rs 4,38,317 crore
  • Rs 28,000 crore has been allocated for VB-Ji-Ram-Ji.
  • About Rs 23,882 crore has been kept in the budget for the Mukhyamantri Ladli Brahmin Yojana.
  • Rs 32,730 crore allocated for Women and Child Development Department.
  • MP CM said that the government is not closing any scheme, but is investing enough money in them.
  • Resolved to create a prosperous Madhya Pradesh by 2047.
  • Provision of Rs 175 crore for Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Department.
  • Rs 900 crore has been allocated for the repair of dilapidated bridges and culverts.
  • Provision of Rs 3,060 crore for Simhastha Mahaparva.
  • Initiative to provide milk along with food to children in schools started. For this, the government allocated Rs 6,600 crore in five years.
  • Under the ‘Yashoda Milk Supply Scheme’, milk will be provided in tetra packs for the purpose of providing additional nutrition to the students up to class 8.
  • The state government has also added ‘I’ to PM Narendra Modi’s resolution of ‘GYAN’.
  • The Budget 2026-27 of Rs 4,38,317 crore is based on the guiding principle of ‘GYANII’ i.e. ‘Poor, Youth, Annadata, Nari Shakti, Infrastructure and Industry’.
  • CM said that this budget is based on the vision of Developed India @ 2047. For the third consecutive time we did not increase any tax.
  • Management of a historic amount of Rs 1,15,013 crore under various schemes and provisions in the farmers welfare year.
  • Rs 31,758 crore allocated for Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department
  • Rs 1,863 crore allocated for the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.
  • Rs 2,365 crore allocated for animal husbandry and dairy department.
  • Provision of Rs 1,679 crore for the Cooperative Department.
  • Rs 772 crore for Horticulture and Food Edition Department.
  • Rs 413 crore for Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries Development Department.
  • Budget dedicated to good governance and administrative strength. Provision of Rs 13,411 crore for Home Department.
  • Rs 13,876 crore allocated for the Revenue Department.
  • Provision of Rs 3,829 crore for Law and Legislative Affairs Department.
  • Rs 1,172 crore for General Administration Department.
  • Rs 895 crore allocated for Jail Department, Rs 153 crore for Parliamentary Affairs Department.
  • Special provisions have been made in Budget 2026-27 for the conservation and promotion of wild animals. Rs 31 crore for Environment Department.
  • Rs 36,730 crore allocated for School Education Department, Rs 4,247 crore allocated for Higher Education Department.
  • Provision of Rs 715 crore for Sports and Youth Welfare Department
