Kishore samrite: In the case of threatening the Parliament House to bomb the Parliament House in 2022, the Rousse Avnu Court sentenced former Madhya Pradesh MLA Kishore Samarite to 6 months in jail. Former MLA Kishore Samarite threatened this in September 2022 to fulfill his incomplete demand.
Special Judge Vikas Dhul of Rouse Avenue Court, while giving his verdict, said that the former MLA convicted for this crime has also been fined with a sentence of 6 months under Section 506 of the IPC.
What is the whole matter?
The entire matter came to light on 16 September 2022 when a parcel reached the Parliament House through speed post. In which some suspects related to explosives were kept, an Indian flag and a constitution book. In this entire parcel, former MLA Kishore Samarite also sent a 10 -page complaint by signing him. In which he described himself as angry with the policies of the then government. About 60 to 70 different demands were kept.
Along with this, in this letter, he had also threatened to blow up Parliament House on 30 September 2022 if his demands were not met. Kishore Samarite had sent a letter and a suspicious substance to the Rajya Sabha general secretary and threatened to fly the Parliament House with a bomb. At the same time, during the investigation in this entire case, it was found that on 19 September 2022, the accused had also sent such a parcel to the Supreme Court and a separately he was registered in relation to it.
The court said in its decision
In December 2022, the Rousse Avnu Court granted bail to the accused former MLA Kishore Samiti, saying that there was no explosion or loss of life and property due to threatening to blow up the Parliament House.
However, while giving its verdict, the court said that this letter, threatening to blow the Parliament House by former MLA Kishore Samarite, is like threatening to destroy the property by setting fire, which is convicted under Section 506 of the IPC. However, the Rousse Avnu Court acquitted Kishore Samarite from the charge under the Explosives Act that the substance sent to the parcel was not explosive under the law.
