After the campaign “I Love Mohammad” in different states of the country, now the “I Love Mahakal” campaign has started in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Posters have been put up at the Bagia temple of Sheetal Das located in front of Chameli Baba’s tomb in the city. This campaign has been started by the awakened Hindu Manch.
BJP spokesperson Durgesh Keswani said that this campaign is being run through the awakened Hindu Manch. He clarified that it has no intention against the “I Love Mohammad” campaign. He said, “There are 365 days of festivals for us. We also put similar posters at the time of Ganesh Chaturthi.”
Durgesh Keswani also questioned the stone pelting in the procession during Hindu festivals. He said what kind of events are worth noting local levels.
‘I love mohammad has no relation with the campaign’
The organizers are making it clear that “I Love Mahakal” has no relation with the “I Love Mohammad” campaign. But this poster has been put at a time when the controversy over the poster of “I Love Mohammad” has been hot. Because of this, many people are considering it as the answer to the same campaign.
‘Promoting local culture purpose’
The organizers of the awakened Hindu Manch say that their aim is only to promote religious sentiments and local culture. Their emphasis is not against any other religion or community. The forum says that this campaign will be organized not only in Bhopal but also in other cities.
The citizens of Bhopal have given mixed reactions to this. Some people consider it to be a promoting Hindu culture and religious identity, while some people consider it to be a dispute in a sensitive time.
