Basic training of nine months of new recruitment constables has started in Madhya Pradesh from the beginning of July. This training is running in eight police training schools in the state, which includes more than 4,000 personnel.

Meanwhile, training ADG Rajababu Singh has waged a discussion by giving an important suggestion. He has asked all the trainee constables to recite Ramcharitmanas before going to sleep every night so that moral values and discipline can be developed in them.

Take inspiration from the life of Lord Rama Trainee- ADG Rajababu Singh

Training ADG Rajababu Singh gave this advice to all police training schools through video conferencing. He said in a statement to ANI that a course called e-coop has also been designed keeping in mind the technical changes being made under the new criminal laws.

He said, “I told the SP to inspire new trains to recite Ramcharitmanas and take inspiration from the life of Lord Rama- how he stayed in the forest, struggled and remained dedicated to the service of society.”

Trainees’ response- proud on this initiative

At the same time, Ravi Kumar Tiwari, who is a trainee, said, “ADG Saheb said that Lord Ram had gone to the forest on the orders of his father, for social welfare. So why can’t we do 9 months training for the good of society?”

He said that reciting Ramcharitmanas gives moral inspiration and it shows the direction of ideal life. This initiative indicates a cultural and valuable approach to the traditional structure of police training.

Even though this initiative is being appreciated between trainees, there are some sensitivity related to it because not all trainees are from the same religious background. However, no one has publicly objected to this.
