During the program, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of a railway line costing more than Rs 2,170 crore between Vikramashila-Kataria, which will establish a direct rail connectivity on the Ganges river. The Prime Minister inaugurated a new railway line costing more than Rs 4,410 crore between Araria-Gughalia (Thakurganj).
PM Modi participated in the home entrance ceremony organized for 5,920 urban beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) and 5,920 urban beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Keys were also handed over to some beneficiaries.
