MP Weather: Cold will increase the suffering in MP, cold wave in these cities including Bhopal-Indore and Gwalior.


Life is badly affected in Madhya Pradesh due to cold and thaw, the cold that started in the last week of November continues in December also. The weather is continuously changing in the state and the icy winds coming from the north are bringing down the temperature. Today the weather is likely to remain dry, after which the minimum temperature may drop by 2 to 3 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain clear for the next 24 hours. This will affect the minimum temperature and increase the cold. The main reason for this is the cyclonic storm ‘Ditwah’ forming in the Bay of Bengal, which may move towards the north. Apart from this, active cyclonic circulation around Punjab is also having an impact. Due to both the systems, the cold wave is likely to intensify further in the next 24 hours.

Cold will increase in the state from December 5

According to the Meteorological Department, the cold wave may further increase in the state from December 5. Due to the effect of freezing winds coming from the north, the temperature is continuously going down. The Meteorological Department estimates that between December 5 and 6, the effect of cold wave and cold wave will be clearly visible in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain and Chambal divisions.

Today’s temperature of major cities of the state

According to the Meteorological Department, no warning has been issued in the state today on December 4, the weather in all the districts is expected to be normal. If we talk about the temperature of major cities of the state, the temperature of capital Bhopal has been recorded at 12 degrees Celsius, Indore at 11.6 degrees Celsius, Jabalpur at 14 degrees Celsius, Hoshangabad at 26.2 degrees Celsius, Gwalior at 9.8 degrees Celsius and Satna at 14.2 degrees Celsius. However, the administration is also appealing to people to take precautions to protect themselves from cold.
