A touching picture has emerged from Chatuwa village of Dindori district. A villager, troubled by the land dispute, reached the collector’s office at the public hearing on Tuesday and prostrated himself to attract the attention of the administration. The young man demanded justice from the administration many times, when the administration did not take any action then the young man took this step. This video is viral on social media.
Umeshwar, a youth from Chatuwa village, alleges that he has been having a dispute with his uncle regarding land for the last four years. He says that his uncle has allegedly taken possession of his land fraudulently. Despite the matter being pending in the court and Tehsil office, the demarcation process is getting delayed. The youth alleges that the Tehsil office employees are repeatedly making him take rounds and delaying the demarcation.

Being financially weak, he is troubled by the continuous delays. He had complained several times in the public hearing before, but no solution could be found. Finally, to register his protest, he reached the Collector’s public hearing prostrated. The villager informed District Panchayat CEO Divyanshu Chaudhary about his problem.
The administration gave assurance
District Panchayat CEO Divyanshu Choudhary and revenue officials present on the spot assured immediate action and immediate resolution of the matter. The youth demands that the land should be demarcated fairly and action should be taken against negligent employees. Taking cognizance of the matter, the administration has assured to take necessary action.
