The 17th edition of the Asia Cup (ASIA CUP 2025) will start from 9 September and will be played at the United Arab Emirates (UAE) till 28 September. 1986 Asia Cup: India did not play
The year 1986, the second edition of the Asia Cup, which was hosted by Sri Lanka. In those days, there was a civil war between the Sri Lankan government and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. The Government of India had decided not to send its team to Sri Lanka for security reasons.
1990 Asia Cup: Pakistan boycott

2010 Asia Cup: Gautam Gambhir and Kamran Akmal’s fight
