The film ‘Awarapan’ won the hearts of the audience 18 years ago, and now Emraan Hashmi is going to return to the same character once again in its sequel. However, the film’s producer Mukesh Bhatt clarified that the real reason for the delay is something else and this decision has been taken purely for personal reasons.
Mukesh Bhatt revealed
While talking to PTI, Mukesh Bhatt revealed that Emraan Hashmi had an accident during the shooting, due to which he had to undergo surgery. Bhatt said, “The doctors have forbidden him from doing any action scene for 45 days.” He also said that the remaining high-octane sequences of the film will be shot only after Emraan’s complete recovery.
As far as box office competition is concerned, Mukesh Bhatt seemed completely unconcerned. He said bluntly, ‘I have no fear of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ and ‘Toxic’. According to the makers, only 20 days of shooting are left for the film, which is to be held in Malaysia. The shooting will be completed as soon as Emraan Hashmi gets medical clearance.
