Mukesh borrowed Rs 8 lakh from his friend Jatin. Jatin had sought partnership from him, but Mukesh gave Rs 16 lakh instead of partnership. After this, Ambu Murarka gave Rs 75 lakh to Mukesh Khanna without interest. Mukesh returned this money after 2 years. Mukesh had told that he had to take money from the show’s staff to make the show. Later Mukesh returned the money to the staff.
Mukesh said in an interview, ‘I remember when we used to have a shortage of money, the staff used to collect 15000-20000 thousand and then we used to shoot. And I used to return the money to them again.
