In Maharashtra, politics has heated up over the offering of Namaz by municipal employees and people at the Malegaon Municipal Corporation office. Meanwhile, BJP leader Nitish Rane said outside the Maharashtra Assembly complex that there is no provision for offering Namaz in the Municipal Corporation anywhere in the Constitution.

He said that the public has elected representatives for development work, but they offer namaz in the corporation premises. When elections start, these people raise slogans of Jai Bhim and after the elections, Jai Bhim is nowhere to be seen. Now these people put up the photo of Tipu Sultan. It appears that Baba Saheb has forgotten Ambedkar.

What was said about offering Namaz in the Municipal Corporation office?

BJP leader Nitish Rane said that municipal employees at Malegaon Municipal Corporation office and people offered namaz at the Municipal Electricity Department office. Its video went viral on social media.

He said that Jai Bhim before the elections, Jai Meem after the elections, they should do all this in the Nation of Islam. You have been selected for development in Malegaon. Has not been chosen to do Jihad. Why should there not be a demand for his dismissal? They have been elected a little to promote religion and there are so many mosques so who will offer namaz there if they have to offer namaz in the municipal building.

Madrassas should be converted into schools

Rane also raised questions on madrassas, saying that there is no need for madrassas in the state and mosques are sufficient for teaching the Quran. He said that he will demand from the Chief Minister to close all the madrasas in the state. Madrasas are the base for training terrorists.

He further said that it has nothing to do with education and if we had done something similar in an Islamic nation, would it have been allowed? If such an initiative had been started there to teach Bhagwat Geeta, then there is no connection in Marathi, only Urdu is taught there. He said that madrassas should be closed and all madrassas should be converted into schools.

‘Government is working to connect Mumbai with Konkan’

Along with this, Rane said that Devendra Fadnavis government is working on connecting Mumbai with Konkan through waterways. He said that the process of starting Ro-Ro service between Mumbai and Vijaydurg from March has been completed and ticket booking has also started. This project will benefit the people of Konkan region and will boost tourism, agriculture and employment.
