Mumbai Youth Congress (Mumbai Youth Congress) has received the first time as a woman. Zeenat Shabrin won the recent organizational elections by winning 10,076 votes and the post became the name of a woman for the first time.
This election for the post of president in the youth unit of Congress was held between 16 May to 17 June and the results were declared on Sunday (September 21). At the same time, Zeenat Shabreen’s victory shows new energy and increasing role of women leadership in the party, which shows women empowerment.

In this election, nine candidates were in the fray for the post of president. Zeenat Shabreen scored the highest 10,076 votes, leaving behind all the candidates. This is the first time a female leader has led the leadership of Mumbai Youth Congress. According to the news agency PTI, the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) officials are selected through internal elections, which makes the organizational transparency and democratic tradition strong.
Zeenat Shabreen came from non-political background
Zeenat Shabreen comes from a non-political background. He said that under his leadership, Mumbai Youth Congress will work to become the voice of the youth of the city. According to the statement issued by the party, Zeenat Shabreen has expressed his gratitude for the guidance and trust of the Indian National Congress, Mumbai Congress, Maharashtra Congress and Mumbai Youth Congress family.
The voice of the youth and the resolve to protect democracy
Zeenat Shabreen said that the organization will continue to struggle to protect democracy and constitution by working under the leadership of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and IYC National President Uday Bhanu Chib. He says that the issues of the youth will be raised prominently and steps will be taken to make the organization more strong.
