Hindu families migrated from Murshidabad: Shubhendu Adhikari
West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari has claimed that many Hindu families have recently migrated from other areas including Suti, Samserganj, Jangipur, Dhulian and Farakka in Murshidabad and have taken refuge in neighboring districts. He wrote on X, ‘Those who could not go out are struggling to meet their basic needs. Their houses have been looted and vandalized. Even their drinking water wells have been poisoned. Some people have returned to their homes with the help of BSF personnel.
Administration is not allowing to distribute relief material: Shubhendu
Shubhendu Officer claimed that the district administration and Superintendent of Police are not allowing people to go to these areas to distribute relief material.
